Pilot Club fundraiser enjoys another successful year

The Pilot Club of Jacksonville hosted its 40th annual Holiday Home Tour & Tea on December 7, welcoming guests to an afternoon filled with festive décor, local history and holiday spirit.
From 1-5 p.m., participants toured six beautifully decorated homes, each adorned by the homeowners or caretakers themselves, before enjoying tea and cookies.
The tea was hosted at Twisted Tree Music Hall on East Morton Avenue, providing a perfect setting for fellowship and celebration.

• Barnes House, Illinois College
Lockwood Place
• Governor Duncan Mansion
4 Duncan Park
• Mary Gray, General Grierson Home
852 East State Street
• President’s House of the former MacMurray College
339 East State Street
Tickets were available in advance for $20. The Pilot Club extends sincere thanks to everyone who made the event such a success—including the generous homeowners, dedicated volunteers and the many community supporters who attended.
Special thanks were also given to Mike Hayes and the staff at Twisted Tree Music Hall for hosting the tea and cookies portion. The location was ideal, and the turnout was outstanding.
The Pilot Club of Jacksonville thanks the community for helping to make the return of this cherished holiday tradition truly memorable.
