The 2024 Arenzville Burgoo took place on Friday, September 6 and Saturday, September 7. Kettle service of the burgoo began at 7 a.m. on Friday. That evening featured carnival rides, the Arenzville Burgoo Pageant and a performance by The Case Band.
The 2024 Arenzville Burgoo royalty are Queen Ali Ballinger, Junior Miss Bentley Gray and Little Miss Andi Roegge.
Kettle service was open again at 7 a.m. on Saturday. That day offered up a variety of happenings: Run 4 the Goo, sand volleyball, kid’s contests, bags tournament, tractor pull, talent show and kid’s parade. At 4 p.m. were frog and turtle races. Carnival rides opening kicked off the evening along with a performance by the THS and TJHS cheerleaders. Entertainment that evening included The Elderly Brothers followed by headliner Alex Miller.
The weather was perfect for all to enjoy.
