Janet Chipman and family marshal 35th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade in downtown Jacksonville

The 35th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Jacksonville kicked off at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 15.
The parade began at East State and Clay streets, headed west to downtown, made its way around the north side of the square and ended at Don’s Place. Though the parade route itself was short, the parade entries were aplenty and the crowds came out in abundance.
The 2025 grand marshal was Janet Chipman, accompanied by her family. Several local businesses served up corned beef, Irish stew and the like to keep with the festivities.
