A blistery day brought out a bundled bunch for the 33rd annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday, March 11 in downtown Jacksonville.
Kicking off at 11 that morning, parade participants made their way from Clay Avenue and East State Street west toward downtown. After circling the square, the parade continued onto Morgan Street to reach its final route destination, Don’s Place.
Danny Kindred and Mike Sullivan led the parade as the official co-marshals for this year’s event, an appropriate and deserved honor as the two originally founded and co-marshaled the local St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
