The Jacksonville AMBUCS held their 24th annual Golf Outing & 57th annual Benefit Auction on Thursday, June 13. Held at The Links Golf Course, the weather that day was in the nineties; however, golfers and volunteers endured the heat in order to make an impact on others.
AMBUCS provides wheelchair ramps and AmTrykes to those in need. Jacksonville AMBUCS locally supports Camp Courage, Jacksonville Area Center for Independent Living, Pathway Services Unlimited, The Salvation Army, Jacksonville Food Bank, and Jacksonville Warming and Cooling Center, among others.
The golf outing had a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start. After the round of golf, AMBUCS member Jess Spradlin volunteered his services as auctioneer for the fundraising auction. To finish the day, dinner was provided by The 19th Hole.
