Davidson named Colleague of the Year for Jacksonville Memorial Hospital:
Eric Davidson, BSN, RN, with Emergency Services at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital, is the nonprofit hospital’s Colleague of the Year.
Davidson feels the ability to make a positive impact daily is the most rewarding part of his job.
His colleagues speak highly of his dedication to both his patients and his co-workers. He demonstrates teamwork and kindness and is willing to help others throughout the day without hesitation.
“Eric shows true empathy and compassion to all of his patients and ensures their safety and well-being,” wrote his nominator. “His dedication does not go unrecognized by his team because he creates such a positive work environment.”
Davidson has worked for Jacksonville Memorial Hospital since 2022.
The colleague of the year is selected from 10 individuals previously named colleague of the month from January through November of the year. Davidson was the May JMH Colleague of the Month.

Street closure notification from Jacksonville Community Development Office:
The north lane of West Morton Avenue will be closed for construction of new approaches in front of the new Starbucks location at 1110 W. Morton Ave. The north lane, going west, will be closed from 6:30 a.m. January 2, to January 5, or until the approaches are completed. Please use caution when approaching Morton and Lincoln avenues while using the westbound lanes.
