Llaina’s Dance & Gym competes in the United States Tumbling & Trampoline Association (USTA). Their athletes compete in various meets during the season, with state meet held in April each year; this is where they can qualify for the Nationals meet.
This year, the Nationals meet was held the week of June 14-19 in Rochester, Minnesota. The athletes competed in trampoline, tumbling and double mini against other athletes in their age group and division.
Llaina’s has 28 members on the team and 11 of those were able to travel to Minnesota to compete at Nationals. Overall, their athletes received 9 top ten trophies and numerous flight awards. One national champion was awarded. Julia Adams placed 1st in double mini.
Llaina Groves, owner of Llaina’s Dance & Gym was also recognized as being a member of the USTA for 30 years.
Team members that competed at Nationals were Abby Olson, Milee Vega, Julia Adams, Ashlynn Culbertson, Sandra Anstedt, Madi Fortado, Stella Robertson, Johanna Johnson, Kynlee Price, Annaka Parker and Arryana Kitson.
