The first Central Illinois Truck Show was held last weekend at the Morgan County Fairgrounds in Jacksonville. Event coordinators Clint Stevens, Nick Rentschler and Quenton Reynolds all love their trucks and wanted to provide an opportunity for their friends and other truck owners to come to one area and compete for prizes. The event, already being planned for 2017, hosted 350 trucks and 1,100 people. Stevens said future events will be used as a fundraiser for not-for-profit organizations the group chooses. In addition he thanked all of the volunteers that helped make the day of the event a success. “After it was planned, everyone stepped forward and helped us put together this great event. We look forward to next year, we have plans for it to be even bigger and better.”
