Historical event held at Nichols Park Pavilion

The 2023 Prairieland Chautauqua was held Sept. 1 and 2 at the Nichols Park Pavilion.
The free event highlighted some local history through performances and lectures, such as “Stephen Douglas & Morgan County” presented by Reg Ankrom or “The Buffalo Soldiers” presented by George Pettigrew.
The two-day educational event also featured live musical entertainment, a children’s show and Wild Times Exotics.
