Jacksonville City Clerk Angela Salyer announces that Jacksonville citizens interested in running for an elected official position or an aldermanic position in the 2025 Consolidated Election may obtain information and documents at the City Clerk’s Office, 200 West Douglas Avenue, Jacksonville, Illinois, Monday through Friday, during the office hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or from the city’s website ‘jacksonvilleil.gov.’ The Consolidated Primary Election is set for February 25, 2025, and the Consolidated Election is set for April 1, 2025.
The Petition Filing Period for Non-Partisan municipalities is set for November 12-18, 2024.
Elected Officials and Aldermen whose terms expire April 30, 2025 include Mayor Andy Ezard, City Clerk Angela Salyer, Treasurer Beth Hopkins, and Aldermen Darcella Speed (Ward 1), Lori Large Oldenettel (Ward 2), Kent Hannant (Ward 3), Brett Henry (Ward 4) and Mary Watts (Ward 5).
