Prairie Land Heritage Museum Institute hosts auction, tours, dinner

The Prairie Land Heritage Museum held its 2nd annual Open House on Sunday, June 22. Despite the record-breaking high temperatures, around 10 vendors found shade outside. Local craft goods including tie-dyed shirts were on display.
Children and adults took tours of the grounds in one of the famous tractor train rides. JBS and Dot Foods sponsored a pork chop dinner for attendees in the air-conditioned office center. Attendees were encouraged to bid on more than a dozen silent auction prize packages ranging from gift certificates to gift baskets full of goods from local businesses.
