The second summer season of “First Sunday Midwest Bazaar” has started. The monthly event features vendors of all sorts, including décor, crafts, art, photography, handmade or boutique jewelry, hot foods and sweets, woodwork and furniture, upcycled, repurposed, antiques, vintage, local wine and craft beer, music and more. The summer kickoff was May 7 at the Menard County Fairgrounds in Petersburg. Hand of Fate Brewing Company was on-hand selling a variety of their craft brews. Two of the four masterminds behind the bazaar, Shawn Stillman and Heather Piepenburg, cover the info booth. Local business Serious Lip Balm was present at the event, as well. The team, from left to right, includes Khara Koffel, Darren Iozia and Megan Luckey.
