Hello, my name is Jennifer Lee Heady

Born and raised in Jacksonville, Jennifer Lee Heady continues to work to help make her hometown a safer place to live. For the past 15 years, Heady has worked for the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office; for the past 18 months, she has been the jail administrator for Morgan County. She’s worked at the same location for nearly two decades. Heady shows a love for her job, but like most, she has things she loves to do outside of work. For Heady, most of her pastimes need it to be nice outside; luckily for her, the weather is turning around, so going for a cruise in her Mustang or lounging by the pool can comfortably be done. Heady also loves spending time with her husband, Tim Heady, and two daughters, Taylor and Jaylen Heady, preferably spending that time by the pool. However, one pastime that Heady can definitely do in colder weather is seeing the Blues play in St. Louis. Weather aside and if there wasn’t the universal need to make some amount of money, Heady knows exactly what she would do — she would load up the family and travel the world, seeing everything it has to offer (and obviously checking out the pools). But if she had to be on an island lounging by the beach, the three books she would bring with her to keep her company would be anything by Stephen King, “Daisy Jones and The Six” and a blank journal to pen her story. With her desire to travel, it comes as no surprise that when asked for her choice of super power, Heady chose the power of teleportation. Heady said her reasoning is because she’d be able to be anywhere at anytime, whenever she wanted or needed. If you are near the jail, for any reason, go ahead and stop in and tell Heady, “hi.”
