Jacksonville Main Street is pleased to announce their “Online Marketing Playbook” is now live on the organization’s website, jacksonvillemainstreet.com.
During the COVID-19 shutdown, as local entrepreneurs began doing more business marketing and transactions online, Jacksonville Main Street heard from small business owners wanting help to better develop marketing and sales opportunities on different online platforms.
The local preservation-based economic development non-profit accepted the offer to receive free assistance from Groupon, a global e-commerce marketplace. For several weeks, Jacksonville Main Street worked with an international team of Groupon professionals to develop a guide that would help users learn more online marketing skills at their own pace and level.
The playbook provides general tips classified for beginners and more advanced users to assist in taking full advantage of the internet to boost local business. Terms are explained so that even cyber novices can feel comfortable promoting their small business online. Links found within the guide provide further information on a variety of related topics so business users can refer to the playbook as their comfort level and need increases.
Listed under the Resources & COVID-19 tab on the Jacksonville Main Street website, the Online Marketing Playbook is an easy to use guide that can be downloaded as a pdf file and printed for ready reference.
The Online Marketing Playbook is free to use or download on the Jacksonville Main Street website and does not require any commitment to Groupon for its use.
