The Franklin 4th of July Celebration took place on Wednesday, July 3 and Thursday, July 4.
This year’s schedule was packed with all sorts of happenings: vendors, bounce houses, an Emily Large Memorial Bags Tournament, the Franklin Pageant, mutton bustin’/greased pig contests, live musical entertainment, 3-on-3 basketball tournament, a parade, face painting, a corn hunt, free crafts for kids, a bullfrog jumping contest — and much more!
Of course, there was also the burgoo! Burgoo service was available both days.
