Passavant Area Hospital Foundation is recipient of $100,000 gift from Howard Million Trust; gift designated for additional Tru-D Robot
The Passavant Area Hospital Foundation is the recipient of a $100,000 gift from the Howard and Vera Million Trust, according to Pam Martin, Executive Director of the Foundation. The gift is designated for the purchase of a second Tru-D Smart UVC Disinfection Robot for Passavant’s Environmental Services Department. The portable Tru-D Robot uses a single cycle of UVC light to kill germs.
“This gift is just another example of the Million family’s desire to leave a legacy in healthcare here at Passavant. The gift is one that provides safety for both our patients and staff,” said Pam. In 2015, the Passavant Foundation was the recipient of a $4,584,000 gift from the estate of Howard and Vera Million. It was the Foundation’s largest gift ever.
Passavant Area Hospital is a Memorial Health System affiliate.
