Passavant volunteers

More than 200 volunteers help make Passavant a great place to receive exceptional care.
“Passavant volunteers are at the core of what we do at Passavant Area Hospital,” said Jan Fellhauer, Director of Volunteers/Lifeline. “They lend a helping hand to areas that need a little extra attention. They freely give their time and talents caring for Passavant, its patients, and their families. We value our volunteers and the services they provide.”

Opportunities to volunteer at Passavant are numerous. Individual on-the-job training by an experienced volunteer or qualified hospital employee is provided for all volunteer positions. Various schedules are available. Volunteers must be neat, in good health, have a positive attitude, and be confident. Some opportunities require special skills. If you are interested in joining the Passavant volunteer team, call the Volunteer Department, (217) 245-9541, ext. 3199.
