The Hobby Horse House has created a visual reminder for those who traffic the downtown square of Jacksonville. One hundred and ninety blue pinwheels have been stuck into the ground as a display for April being Child Abuse Prevention month. Executive Director Annette Huddleston said that Hobby Horse House chose the pinwheels as a symbol of youth. Along with staffers Erika Marshall and Lucas Carriger, the trio planted the pinwheels as an uplifting idea. Huddleston noted that it is important to “remind people that all of us need to be aware of child safety.”
