The primary goal of Prince Of Peace Infant/Toddler Childcare center is to provide an outstanding safe, warm and nurturing environment of care for children while positively enhancing their growth and development. Our goal also is to provide children with the resources to help them reach their potential.
There is a limited number of DCFS qualified license childcare centers in the city of Jacksonville. According to the Social Impact Research Center’s report, Morgan County’s poverty rate was 15.1% and the child poverty rate was 21.4% in the year 2014. Also according to the Social Impact Research report Morgan County’ unemployment rate was 4.8%. The rate of teen births in Morgan County is 43.6 per 1,000, an increase of the overall rate of teen births in the state (28.3 per 1,000) based on the Illinois Poverty Report. Our programs and services allow the working poor and parents attending school or training programs the opportunity to enhance their lives, while having the support and assurance of knowing that their child is receiving the proper care that meet their social, emotional, intellectual, physical and nutritional growth and development.
