It was a great summertime evening for the Friday, July 17 outdoor concert in the Jacksonville Main Street Downtown Concert Series. Featuring the Champ Jaxon Band, the soundtrack for the night was full of rockin’ blues.
Many came out for the free event, including a special appearance by many members of the Jacksonville High School Class of 1981.
The final concert in the series will take place from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, July 31. Featuring country musicians “Clay Clear Band,” it might be a good night to bring out your boots and dance.
This summer concert series is hosted by Jacksonville Main Street. The free, family-friendly concerts are held in downtown Jacksonville on Friday evenings. Find more information at jacksonvillemainstreet.org/concerts.
