The 2023 Arenzville Burgoo, held Sept. 8 and 9, was two days of so much more than burgoo. The community-supported event offered kettle service of burgoo both days, starting at 7 a.m. Additionally, the schedule was full of live music performances; athletic competitions, which included the “Run for the Goo” 5k run/walk; a tractor pull; a talent contest; Little Miss and Mr. Burgoo; and much more.
