The 2025 firefighter application deadline for the Jacksonville Fire Department was Friday, March 28.
Seventy people submitted an application. The next steps for the 70 applicants will be an in-person physical agility test and an online examination.
In preparation for the formal in-person physical agility test, the JFD held a training day. Thirteen individuals came out an participated in the training day held on Saturday, March 29.
