Kiwanis annual fundraiser to be held March 20
The planning is underway for the 74th annual Kiwanis Pancake & Sausage Day. The event will be held on Monday, March 20 from 6 a.m.-7 p.m. at Cured (formerly the McClelland Dining Hall). The dining hall will be open this year and carry out will still be available.
The Kiwanis members are participating in a western-themed event to promote ticket sales. Membership co-chairman David Freesen was at the kick-off party held at Waters Edge Winery on Thursday, Feb. 9.
Tickets are available from any Kiwanis member or at any of the following Jacksonville businesses: Heartland Bank and Trust; County Market; CNB Bank and Trust; The Source Newspaper; The Farmers State Bank and Trust Company; and Petefish, Skiles & Co. Bank. At only $8 per ticket, the money raised at this event has a huge impact on the children of this community.
