Winter Soirée at the YMCA

A soirée fundraiser was held on Friday, Feb. 5, at our local Bob Freesen YMCA. Proceeds from the event will go toward achieving their mission: “ … to put Christian principles into practice through all programs that build healthy mind, spirit or body for all. (Their) three areas of focus are youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. “ The evening featured both a silent auction, and also a live auction run by Richard Middendorf. There was a wine pull held throughout the beginning of the soirée, surrounded by the lobby’s various activities, which included hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and a 50/50 raffle. The party was full of fun and fundraising … and some great dancing moves by the attendees to the music of the evening’s band, “90’s Daughter,” which played in the decorated gym to finish the evening.
