Out of an abundance of caution, the Winter Soirée for the YMCA, which was scheduled for Friday, Jan. 28, will become the Spring Soirée on Friday, April 8. This fundraising event will still be held at Hamilton’s from 6-11 p.m.

All ticket reservations will be honored for the new date. There are still a few tickets available and can be reserved by calling the Y at 217-245-2141. Tickets are $30 per ticket or $300 for a reserved table.

90’s Daughter will be the musical entertainment on the new date as well. Soirée guests should wear shoes for dancing!

There is something for everyone’s taste within the wide array of live auction items, which include cabin getaways; sports tickets for Cardinals, Cubs and Blues games; catered dinners; a beautifully created dollhouse furnished to the nines; a handmade coffee table created by David Pohlman; a custom-made toy chest designed by Billy Leib; a pickleball party; two different wine tasting parties, one at West of Wise Winery and the other at Waters Edge Winery & Bistro; and much more. The event will also feature a basket auction and wine pull as well.

The mission of the Bob Freesen YMCA is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy mind, spirit and body for all. Its three areas of focus are youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. All proceeds from this event will go toward achieving this mission.
