Sale of discount cards benefit local charities:
The Koinonia class of Central Christian Church, Jacksonville recently sold discount cards as a fundraiser and were able to give $1,040 each to Jacksonville Food Bank, New Directions: Warming and Cooling Center and Spirit of Faith Soup Kitchen.
The class would like to thank all the sponsors and all those who purchased a card.

Morton Ave Misfits award two scholarships:
The Morton Ave Misfits awarded $1,000 scholarships to Andrew Cooley and Colton Decker., two local seniors planning to work in the automotive industry following high school graduation. The Morton Ave Misfits’ next event is the Jacksonville Fall Cruise Night scheduled for Saturday, September. 16. Search “Morton Ave Misfits” on Facebook for more information.
Two Rivers Land Bank Authority (TRLBA) Request for Qualifications: Real Estate Services
Overview:
The Two Rivers Land Bank Authority (TRLBA) is seeking locally based Illinois licensed real estate brokers to assist in the marketing and sale of abandoned and distressed properties in TRLBA member communities.
The TRLBA acknowledges that locally based real estate professionals have deep knowledge of the real estate market, and therefore partnership with local real estate professionals is critical to effectively market and sell properties. This RFQ aims to identify a real estate firm or firms to partner with TRLBA to list and sell properties in Jacksonville.
All interested parties wanting to receive the RFQ must respond in writing via email with reference to “TRLBA Real Estate Services” in the subject line and direct the email to:
