Christmas in Franklin

Franklin’s annual Christmas Festival took place November 30 through December 4. The celebration kicked off with a lighted Christmas parade on November 30.

There was a homecoming bonfire on December 1 for the high school classes. Additional high school activities included the freshman/junior Christmas tree festival, the senior class quarter auction, a 3-on-3 Jingle Jam basketball tournament and visits from the “Grinch” and Santa.

Saturday night, the committee put on a magical evening with a character dinner for families. Sunday, the Christmas Festival committee hosted its annual breakfast with Santa. They also added a new event this year — elf races! The celebration closes with the school’s Christmas music program and a surprise visit from Santa.
