A Christmas parade was held downtown on the square in Jacksonville on Black Friday, November 26. City of Jacksonville Mayor Andy Ezard happened to be decked out with a Santa hat next to his wife, Jenissa; however, he was not the official Father Christmas.
Santa Claus was inside a fire truck seated on one side, and was unable to be photographed by this photographer – still, we know he was jolly and full of “ho-ho-ho”s. The Grinch also made an appearance, sitting in the cab of a big, coordinating green EnviroVac rig. Various participants filled the parade and parade-goers bundled up to enjoy the special night.
