The crossbred heifer calf born on Easter morning is one of the first calves of the spring born on the Pate Farms near Murrayville. (Darryl is a crossbred bull calf born on April 14. He has a twin sister who is being raised by their mother, while Darryl is being bottled fed by Hannah Pate. Darryl gets daily walks and is being strengthened up to return to his family The Pate Farm is owned by Harry and Rudy Pate.
