Hunger is an issue that we all face. The Central Illinois Foodbank’s primary goal is to feed America. Food drives are a fun and engaging group activity that may be easily conducted and the Central Illinois Foodbank provides many resources to organizations wishing to host such an event. Members of the Jacksonville Kiwanis Club and the Waverly Key Club, in partnership with the Jacksonville High School Key Club, Illinois College Circle K Club, Elm City Aktion Club, and JACIL Aktion Club hosted the Morgan County Mobile Food Pantry last week at the JHS Bowl. Contract The Central Illinois Food Bank (217) 522-0422 for more information on hosting a food drive or contact Kiwanis President Paul Reither, (217) 245-78154, for information on joining one of the many Kiwanis affiliated service clubs listed above.
