The Keithley family loves to grow pumpkins and it has always been something they have done. After people began stopping at the family farm to ask if their pumpkins were for sale, they took their patch to the next level and started growing enough pumpkins to share.
For the many guests who came to the farm for a pumpkin, it was hard to miss the many other great activities the farm had to offer. So, the family decided to open up the farm to the public each weekend starting the last weekend of September; they wanted to allow others to enjoy the animals, play games and pick a pumpkin or two.
The farm is located at 2355 Hwy. 78 North, Jacksonville. They are open on weekdays from 3:30 p.m. – dark, Saturdays 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sundays noon – 5 p.m. There is no entry fee and all games and activities are free. Pumpkins and snacks are available for purchase.
