The Jacksonville Center for the Arts reached It’s first milestone, $1 million dollars, to be used for a performing arts center. Susan Weller, the president of the Center for the Arts, said the facility will be built at North Sandy Street and West Douglas Avenue on property that JCA leased from The City of Jacksonville. To celebrate, Jacksonville Center for the Arts hosted a Thanks a Million Party, thanking donors for their belief in the project.
