The Price is United came back and it was a great. Hamilton’s 110 North East was filled to the brim with people wanting to “come on down,” and support the Prairieland United Way.

The event was on Saturday, February 5. All participants left with a bag of Reynolds’ best products (even if they missed the correct price of the items they were bidding on).

All proceeds from this event went to the 2021 Be Someone’s Hero Prairieland United Way Annual Campaign, co-chaired by Brian and Amy Gillespie. The Price is United fundraiser was designed and hosted by David and Nicole Meyer.

Prairieland United Way advances the common good by focusing on protecting services vital to the immediate basic needs of the most vulnerable members of our community; while making long term investments in education, financial stability and health, because these are the building blocks for a good quality of life.

Prairieland United Way is currently 80% to their goal of raising $460,000, and they need the communities help to reach it by the campaign end on February 28.

To make your donation, you can go online at prairielandunitedway.org, or drop a payment off at their office, located in the basement of the Jacksonville Municipal Building,at 200 West Douglas, Jacksonville, IL 62650.
