A live reindeer was a magical treat at the Riggston location, thanks to Nolan’s Petting Zoo. Not only was there Santa and a reinDEER, but also there was “John DEERe” everything that you could imagine for boys and girls. Marsha Awe believed that this was the 10th year to hold the “Santa Day at Arends-Awe, Inc.” Awe noted that the event is an “opportunity for us to do something for the community. It is great to see everybody come out and enjoy a fun morning.” The event is usually the first Saturday of December and that the holiday happening allows families to see Santa, have some refreshments and take part in the fun buzz of the day. Awe adds, “I’ve seen a lot of kids grow up seeing Santa since we started this.” That’s a present in itself.
