Talent show nets first and second place finishes for local girls

Solo and group dancers competed recently at the Illinois Association of Agricultural Fairs 113th Annual Convention State Talent Show in Springfield.
Jaycee Bates, of Jacksonville, and representing Sangamon County, won first place for her contemporary dance solo in the Junior Division.
The Legacy Studio California Girls represented Morgan County. They are Jayden Batty, Eady Brickey, Paislee and Parker Geer, Aubrey Kunzeman, Maddy Klendworth, Malaina VanMeter and Hadley Gray.
