Prairieland United Way, The Salvation Army host community baby shower

Prairieland United Way and the Jacksonville Salvation Army hosted a community baby shower for new mothers and mothers-to-be on April 23.
Community agencies were set up for new moms to browse through and see services available in the Jacksonville area. Free lunch, games and prizes were given away.
Jacksonville Salvation Army Major April Clarke opened the day with a welcome and prayer. Major Lisa Mueller of The Salvation Army Divisional Headquarters, Midland Division provided a devotional message after lunch. More than two dozen moms and moms-to-be enjoyed the event.
