The Jacksonville Bob Freesen YMCA hosted the Healthy Kids Day® on Saturday, April 26.
The event featured members of the Jacksonville Fire Department, Jacksonville Police Department and many great events including boxing, bounce houses, games, a dance party, gym time, pickle ball, healthy eating, community agency partner booths, snacks and more. Bluey and Bingo characters were also there.
The free event is part of the Y’s national initiative to improve the health and well-being of kids and families. This year’s Healthy Kids Day was sponsored by Peanuts as part of a new multi-year partnership with YMCA of the USA to increase summer camp access, innovative conservation programs and camp leadership development for children across the U.S. and internationally.
