“Take me out to the ball game. Take me out with the crowd. Buy me some dog bones and rawhide chews …” It was a canine-friendly night at the Springfield Sliders’ home game recently in July. The night was promoted as “Bark in the Park Night,” an evening game at Robin Roberts Stadium in Springfield that allowed dogs into the stands, laps or even seats. The Springfield Sliders are the Springfield prospect baseball team. Find their schedule at springfieldsliders.com.
