CASSCOMM, a local Gigabyte broadband provider in the Jacksonville community and surrounding communities recently had a promotion for new customers that signed up and in turn, would donate to the Protecting Animals Welfare Society in Jacksonville also known as PAWS. PAWS is a local non-profit volunteer animal rescue facility that has a 100% volunteer help program. Unfortunately, with all of the COVID-19 restrictions and concerns of fundraisers this past year, PAWS was limited on doing anything to help the animals. CASSCOMM wanted to do something to help this organization during this time. Casey French public relations and marketing manager stated “I have family and friends who have connections to the PAWS organization and it’s amazing and a lot of love has come from it. This was a great way for us to try and help so they could help their own and more.” CASSCOMM was able to donate $1000 for the PAWS center this winter to help with feeding and keeping the pets warm until they find a new loving home. If you or someone you know is interested in adopting, please call the PAWS office at 217-243-7297.
