Kiwanis’ pancake tradition

The Kiwanis Club of Jacksonville enjoyed a full day of flipping pancakes and sausages during their 74th annual Pancake & Sausage Day; diners enjoyed the fruits of that labor.

The event was held Monday, March 20 from 6 a.m.-7 p.m. at Cured, which was formerly MacMurray College’s McClelland Dining Hall, at 438 E. College Ave. in Jacksonville. Everyone was excited to return to the all-you-can-eat serving as a dine-in option again this year. The club continued with the “Express Drive-Thru” service option as well. Over 4,800 people were served.

This is the largest fundraiser for the Kiwanis Club of Jacksonville. The group enlists a great number of member volunteers plus supporters otherwise — thank you to all for making this year’s fundraiser a successful event.
