Riding for peace

The 12th annual “Peacekeepers Capital Ride & Rally” took place on Sunday, July 24. The ride started at Camp Lincoln in Springfield, with various stops along the way. A stop at Club 217 in Jacksonville was made for a presentation to honor Fallen Officer Scot Fitzgerald. An additional stop to honor Fallen Soldier Joshua Powell was made at The Grainery in Pleasant Plains. This year’s ride was dedicated to the memory of United States Army Staff Sgt. Joshua Powell and South Jacksonville Police Officer Scot Fitzgerald.
