Twenty-nine West Central Illinois students received 2025 Rotary Scholar-Athlete Awards from the Rotary Club of Jacksonville at a banquet on April 24.
Students were selected based on the recommendations of school administrators and coaches. The featured speaker at the banquet was Chris Duerr, KHQA TV Sports Director. Daniel Lepper, president of the Rotary Club, said, “These students exhibit characteristics that will prepare them well for leadership in their communities, in future educational endeavors, and in their chosen careers. We are proud to recognize their achievements through our Scholar-Athlete Awards.”
