Woodhaven Volunteer Hospice’s 2014 Festival of Trees and Wreaths

Trees decorated by various local children’s programs or schools were also on display. Many of these had a more youthful theme, incorporating Dr. Seuss stories or sweet candies, for example, (left). Walt Copper (red sweater) and Jaxon Cook (blue vest) create their own trees at Woodhaven Volunteer Hospice’s 2014 Festival of Trees and Wreaths. They came with “Granny” on one of their “adventures” when the trio get in the car and just – go! This adventure landed them at the Festival of Trees and Wreaths for snacks, crafts, tree-judging and fun, (lower left). The MacMurray Student Association’s “Highlander’s Scottish” tree introduces a row of other designer trees with its festive tartan, (lower middle). The 2014 theme was “Christmas Around the World,” and this designer wreath by Emily Sabo, waves a big “Aloha!” with its pink hibiscus and mai tai-toting flamingo decor, (lower right).
