Jacksonville Middle School wrestlers recognized for their accomplishments as student athletes 

The following students made straight ‘A’ grades (ST.A), high honors (HH) or honors (H). The Turner Junior High/Jacksonville Middle School wrestling team is off to a good start this season.  The wrestling team currently has 35 wrestlers on the roster. The team finished in 2nd place at the Turner Titan Open in early January, out of 16 teams.  The team currently has a dual team record of nine wins and two losses.  The team has several athletes with double digit wins for the season.  Those athletes are: Keaton Frye (13 wins), Talon Ford (13 wins), Connor Hall (13 wins), Treyger VanIter (12 wins), Calvin Darnell (11 wins), Keegan Haley (10 wins), Connor Adcock (10 wins), Rees Megginson (10 wins) and Eli Gerard (10 wins).  The team will continue its season with several duals remaining and two additional tournaments prior to entering the IESA Regional Wrestling tournament February 25 in Macomb.
