Morgan County Fair Kids’ Day

All area children are invited to participate in Kids’ Day at the Morgan County Fair on Thursday afternoon, July 7, from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. A large group of volunteers will provide games, crafts and face painting. The children will be greeted by Blue Bear and Terry the Tiger. Fun educational activities will be provided by the Jacksonville Fire Department, Morgan County Health Department, JACIL, Passavant Area Hospital, Cass Morgan Farm Bureau Young Leaders and Master Gardeners. Each child will receive small prizes donated by local merchants. Parents are encouraged to attend with their children. Look for activities in the 4-H Building, the Adult Building and behind the fair office.

On Sunday, July 12, the annual Morgan County Fair Pedal Tractor Pull will be held in the 4-H Building. Trophies and prize money will be awarded to the winners. This free activity is open to all children and youth who have not yet started high school. Registration begins at 1:30 p.m., with the competition beginning at 2 p.m. Parents, grandparents and friends are invited to bring a lawn chair and watch this fun activity.
