One local vocal artist is announcing his first public appearance since shooting for the stars on American Idol in Hollywood.
On Saturday, May 4, Isaiah Case will be performing with a live band at one of Jacksonville’s newest venues, Twisted Tree Music Hall. The ticketed concert dubbed “Live and Loud on the Lawn” will be from 6-8 p.m. “The two-hour show will feature a lot of fun country covers with lots of originals throughout,” stated Case. The band he has put together includes Pete Rock on drums, Darren Walden on electric guitar, Shane Haley on bass, and his sister, Sophia Case, singing backup. Twisted Tree Music Hall is located at 1061 E. Morton Ave. in Jacksonville.
They will perform songs by Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton, songs that Case has written and some songs that he has collaborated on with members of his family. Some originals will include “Let It Rain” and “What Could I Do,” the song with which he auditioned on American Idol.
Case appeared on this season of American Idol on March 24, when he received the golden ticket to go on to Hollywood. He filmed the Hollywood episode in December. Unfortunately, he did not continue on in the competition, but this was a great opportunity to showcase his talents nationally. Since his appearance, The Corner Deli has created a sandwich to honor his American Idol adventure: The Golden Ticket.
Now that American Idol is behind him, he was asked what is next for Isaiah Case. “Hopefully, lots of shows and a bunch more original music coming out soon,” concluded Case.
Case lives in Jacksonville with his wife, Anna, and their son, Judah. He serves as a music minister for First Christian Church.
