Downtown Jacksonville got in on all the events that took place on Saturday, Sept. 20. The annual Downtown Fall Crawl took place throughout the afternoon.
Many cruisers and Oktoberfest friends staggered all of their fun with some shopping and food downtown. Almost all of the shops and restaurants around the square had specials, sales, open house events and sidewalk sales.
Our Town Books was celebrating their 2nd anniversary with a sidewalk used book sale, which also included several local makers set up along the east side of the square. At one point, the line was down the block from the Our Town Books storefront to East State Street.
Kindred Market also held an anniversary celebration that included sales, henna tattoos and a coffee bar with fair trade coffee.
On the southeast side of the square, Pizza Records was hosting its first ever $1 record sidewalk sale. There were also racks of shirts and other items outside for purchase.
Home Sweet Keto set up a booth inside of 37 South Boutique. The Little Stove also had several “fall-infused” menu items for shoppers wanting to stop for a bite to eat. If you wanted to stay outside, the Lazy Laker food truck was on the northeast corner of the square fulfilling all of your snack needs. In total, 17 businesses participated around downtown during the very busy shopping experience for a very busy day in Jacksonville.
