The Jacksonville Fire Department officially commissioned and placed into service a brand-new 2026 Pierce Enforcer 100-foot Ascendant Aerial Tower Ladder (Truck 1331).
A commissioning and push-in ceremony was held on June 22, to celebrate the new apparatus.
Prior to this addition, the department also commissioned a new custom pumper engine in March 2025. As a result of these fleet upgrades, the Village of South Jacksonville approved the purchase of one of Jacksonville’s used ladder trucks for $200,000 to maintain its local fire services and insurance rates.
