What experience do you have to be the Morgan County Commissioner? I was born and raised in this County and its issues are my issues.As President for a very successful farming and trucking company, I manage the financial actions for the company such as budgeting, planning and allocations of funds much like that of a County Commissioner. I’ve been a Precinct Committeeman since 2018 and in that capacity, I along with all the other Republican Precinct Committeemen, work to fill vacancies left by elected officials and submit to the County Commissioners for final approval.
Why do you want to be Morgan County Commissioner? I feel I will bring an openness to the role as I have always worked well with others. I want to be that individual who will listen to all the people of Morgan County whether you’re a business owner, a farmer, or a concerned citizen.
I feel I will bring a youthful energy to the office and I’m not using this position as a stepping stone to retirement.
What issues do you believe currently face Morgan County, and how are you able to address these needs?
Homelessness – continue to support recent funding along with the city to assist in housing for these individuals
Representation for the farm and rural communities – being associated with that community, I can certainly provide a voice.
Anything else you wish to add: I feel I am more attuned to the issues at hand in Morgan County than my fellow candidates and am excited at the prospects to be able to make this a better place to live. I would appreciate your support!
