Ingredients:
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
Directions:
- In a large bowl, whisk together condensed milk, cocoa powder, vanilla and salt until smooth.
- Beat cream with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold in one third of the whipped cream into the condensed milk mixture. Working in batches, fold remaining whipped cream into condensed milk mixture until no streaks remain. Be careful not to deflate the cream.
- Transfer to a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan and cover loosely with plastic wrap.
- Place ice cream in freezer and leave until firm, about 3 hours, or up to 12 hours.
- Remove from freezer five minutes before serving.
Note: Ice cream can be stored in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 1 month.
